Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Group (DILG)

Diversity & Inclusion Leadership Group (DILG)

The Academy works closely with a growing network of engineering employers and employer-led organisations interested in sharing best practice and working collaboratively to improve diversity and inclusion across the engineering profession.

The DILG includes a strategic steering group responsible for setting overall direction and reviewing progress and industry-led action groups, drawn from the network, that collaborate to develop and deliver tools and materials in areas such as inclusive recruitment and engineering, for dissemination and adoption across engineering employment.

There are many ways to get involved with the DILG:

  1. Become a member of one of the DILG action groups by emailing the Diversity team. Please note that in order to join one of the action groups your company needs to be a part of the DILG membership
  2. Encourage your company to join the DILG community and become a member of the largest platform that brings together engineering employers to work collectively to improve D&I and share best practice
  3. Join Academy’s DILG LinkedIn Group to stay tuned on any relevant D&I events and news
  4. Subscribe to our mailing list to receive our Diversity & Inclusion Programme Newsletter and invitations to Academy’s events

Help us spread the word by using the #EngDiversity hashtag when sharing D&I news on social media and tagging @RAEngNews.
