Public Engagement Grants

Public engagement grants are available for projects that aim to achieve at least two of the following:

  • Provide engineers with practical experience of public engagement activities, allowing them to share their expert knowledge and reflect on the social impact of their work

  • Include creative activities that challenge public engagement practitioners and engineers to communicate in new ways

  • Present opportunities for engineers to improve their communication and engagement skills through experiential learning and/or the design and delivery of bespoke training opportunities

  • Enable members of the public to discuss engineering and its impact on our daily lives

We welcome applications from different types of organisations, including joint applications from engineers and organisations specialising in communication, education, arts or policy (e.g. think-tanks).
