Ingenious Grants
Ingenious Grants are
available for projects that aim to achieve at least
three of the following:
-
Provide engineers with
practical experience of public engagement
activities, allowing them to share their expert
knowledge and reflect on the social impact of
their work
-
Include creative
activities that challenge public engagement
practitioners and engineers to communicate in
new ways
-
Present opportunities for
engineers to improve their communication and
engagement skills through experiential learning
and/or the design and delivery of bespoke
training opportunities
-
Enable members of the
public to discuss engineering and its impact on
our daily lives

Funding is available from
£3,000 to £30,000.
We welcome applications from
different types of organisations, including joint
applications from engineers and organisations
specialising in communication, education, arts or
policy (e.g. think-tanks).
How to Apply
Ingenious is
currently closed for applications. Funding decisions
on the current round will be made by the
Ingenious Panel at the start of March 2013.
The next round of Ingenious
will open in late summer 2013.
