Public affairs

-
Party conferences 2010 The Academy, and a number of other professional engineering organisations, will be creating an engineering presence at the three main party conferences through a series of platform fringe events.
-
Engineering the Future
Engineering the
Future is a banner under which organisations from the professional engineering community (the Academy, the engineering institutions, EngineeringUK, ECUK) are working together to promote the contribution of engineering to the UK’s economic recovery and beyond. This will look to build on the current political interest in engineering as a way of addressing the grand challenges and supporting a refocus of the economy into a science-based, high-value set of industries that address major global and societal issues while creating wealth and jobs.
