Engineering policy

To inform the debate and further understanding of engineering matters, the Academy Engineering Policy Committee produces reports, meetings and events on a range of policy issues. The Academy also responds to Parliamentary, governmental and other consultations with an engineering dimension.

    A network for individuals in science, engineering and technology policy.

  • Engineering policy committee
    This standing committee is made up of Fellows of the Academy and is responsible for the organisation’s engineering policy.

  • Evidence-based policy
    The Academy makes strong efforts to consult widely among its Fellows when preparing policy advice and our procedures are compatible with Government guidelines on the provision of scientific advice.

  • Policy staff
    Here are the individuals who manage Academy policy activity on a day-to-day basis.
