Q13. Whilst on secondment who is responsible for my attendance?
A13. The Secondee remains an employee of The Employer and is
subjected to that organisation’s normal terms and conditions. Notwithstanding that,
The Secondee is subjected to the rules of conduct of the Host organisation (including
those related to attendance, absence, holiday entitlement/time off and problem-solving
procedure) during the period of secondment. The responsibility for your attendance,
therefore, lies with the Host organisation.
Q14. I have been on a 6-month secondment. I would like to take
the last 10 days off as part of my annual leave entitlement. Does The Academy have
any objections to this?
A14. Please see the answer to question Q13 above. Any
intention to go on annual leave during the secondment period must be declared
to The Academy at application stage.
