Schemes for Engineers in Research and Development
RAEng Research Fellowships
Application Limit
To
streamline the application process, there is a limit
on the number of applications that can be submitted
by a single Host Institution.
The maximum number of
applications that can be submitted for this scheme
from most Host Institutions is two (2). Please see
below for exceptions. If a Host Institution submits
more than the permitted number of applications, they
will be asked to withdraw applications exceeding
this limit.
This scheme is aimed at the very best
engineers working in research from across the UK.
Host Institutions are therefore expected to submit
only those applications that they consider to be of
a highly competitive standard.
Exceptions
Host Institutions that have
been awarded three (3) or more Research Fellowships
within the last five (5) rounds are permitted to
submit one (1) additional application, bringing
their total to three (3). These Host Institutions
are listed below:
2012
-
Imperial College London
-
Queen Mary, University of London
-
Queens University Belfast
-
University of Cambridge
-
University of Edinburgh
-
University of Glasgow
-
University of Oxford
-
University of Southampton
Note: It is expected
that the composition of this list will evolve with
each completed round as the five (5) year track
record is updated; this list should be checked by
all Host Institutions with the announcement of any
successive calls.
