Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowships Scheme: Funding
Salary of Replacement lecturer
The Fellowship covers 100% of
the gross salary costs (including pension, NI and
any pay awards) of an academic who is preferably in
the early stages of their career. The replacement
academic will undertake all non-research related
teaching and administrative responsibilities of the
Fellow for the duration of the Fellowship. The
salary costs will be payable at the starting salary
of the lecturer pay scale at the host institution.
The costs given in the application should be those
that will apply when the Fellowship commences.
Note: these Fellowships are
not calculated on the basis of Full Economic Costs (fEC).
Support fund
Up to £2,500 (‘Support Fund’) is
available to the Fellowship holder to cover
miscellaneous research costs, such as attendance at
conferences and minor research expenses. The Support
Fund must not be used to meet any institution
overheads or indirect or unspecified costs.
If the
Support Fund is requested, a full account of its use
will be required at the end the Fellowship.
