Schemes for Engineers in Research and Development

Distinguished Visiting Fellowship Scheme

Monitoring

Within one month of the completion of a Visiting Fellowship the host institution and the Fellow are required to submit an End-of-Visit report of up to 1000 to 1500 words to the Royal Academy of Engineering describing how the opportunity provided by the Fellowship was used. It is a requirement of the Scheme that brief (normally one to two A4 pages-long) End-of-Year reports on any activities resulting from the visit are submitted by the host institution to The Academy one year after the completion of the visit.

The host and the visitor are also required to submit a completed Third Party Income form (below) within one month from the end of the visits.

The Host and Fellow reports are sent to Academy Fellows in the scheme’s Steering Group as a measure of the success of the scheme.
