The Royal Academy of Engineering International Medal

The International Medal was created in 2006 to celebrate The Royal Academy of Engineering’s 30th anniversary. The Medal is to be awarded occasionally to an individual, resident outside of the European Union, for his or her outstanding and sustained personal achievement in the broad field of engineering. The recipient is presented with a silver gilt medal and certificate.

The first recipient of the Academy’s International Medal was Professor Cham Tao Soon FREng, who helped to create and develop the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

The call for nominations for the 2013 award has now closed. The winner(s) will be announced in 2013.
