The Royal Academy of Engineering ERA Foundation Entrepreneurs Award

Selection Committee

The Selection Committee with winner, Phil Harper.

The Selection Committee with the 2006 winner, Phil Harper

The awarding of The Royal Academy of Engineering ERA Foundation Entrepreneurs Award is entirely at the discretion of the selection committee and any decision of the Committee is final on all matters. The Award will be given to entries that, in the judges’ opinion, best combine:

  • technological inventiveness

  • business awareness

  • entrepreneurial potential

  • complementary personal qualities

Up to six finalists will be chosen to present their submissions and answer questions. This is an important opportunity to interact with Fellows of the Academy who will be prepared to offer advice and assistance where appropriate. It is expected that the winning submission will be based on the findings of research and complementary activity undertaken personally by the nominated individual(s).
