All nominations must however be UK based.

Selection Committee

The award of The Royal Academy of Engineering/Nexia Solutions Innovation Prize is entirely at the discretion of the Selection Committee and any decision of the Committee is final on all matters.

In making their decision, the Selection Committee will review each proposal with respect to the following criteria:

  • Demonstrable metrics of success including student/participant feedback and lasting impact.

  • Take up by others.

  • Before completing the application form, the proposer should first read the Instructions for Proposers. The proposer will act as the point of contact for all correspondence with regard to the application.

  • Letters from two independent referees supporting the proposal are required. Referees should consult the Instructions for Referees before composing their letters of support. Proposers are responsible for ensuring that these letters are received at the Academy.

  • The deadline date for receipt of the completed application form and both Referees’ letters is 1st March 2007.
