Academy Awards 2009

The Academy Awards showcase and celebrate the best of British engineering achievement. This year the theme was Celebrating Innovators in Engineering. Held at the Imperial War Museum on 9 June, the Awards evening was held in the presence of HRH The Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh KG KT and Academy President Lord Browne of Madingley.

The Masters of Ceremonies were Nicholas Owen - BBC News 24 presenter and Vivienne Parry - Science Journalist and TV presenter and a number of the Academy's major Medals and Awards were presented. Including:
