The DILG is a network of over 60 engineering employer and employer-led organisations interesting in collaborating to share and develop effective approaches to addressing diversity and inclusion challenges faced by the engineering sector.

The DILG has a strategic-level Steering Group of senior decision makers, chaired by Allan Cook CBE FREng, responsible for setting overall direction and reviewing progress. It periodically convenes action groups to deliver outputs to drive change in areas such as procurement and inclusive recruitment, for dissemination and adoption across the engineering employment. Action Groups are made up of representatives from DILG member organisations interested in working collaboratively to increase diversity and inclusion across engineering.
