The Associate Parliamentary Engineering Group

An all-party group for MPs and peers interested in engineering issues

The Associate Parliamentary Engineering Group (APEG) is the only Parliamentary Group dedicated solely to the promotion of engineering in Parliament. It is a well-established Group with a representative membership of 15 peers, 38 MPs, 45 non-Parliamentary Individual Members and 80 Corporate Members, consultancies, universities and other corporate bodies.

The Group acts as a forum for the exchange of information and views on engineering development. It operates on an all-party basis.

Its main means of promotion is a programme of meetings on topical themes in the House of Commons while Parliament is in session.

The Royal Academy of Engineering organises and provides APEG's secretariat. For all information about the work of APEG, including forthcoming events and meetings, please contact: John Arnold at: jarnold@politicsdirect.com
