Engineers Against Poverty
charity cycle challenge
Day 2 - 27 February 2010
Tra Vinh - Can Tho
Today was the first of three days back to back, where we cycle over 90km per day.

We began the day by visiting a local pagoda temple.

It wasn't long into the day before Helen unfortunately had a puncture. John, the group's doctor wasn't too far away and can quickly fix bikes too!

The Vietnamese transport everything on their bicycles and mopeds. In this case, it's only the single chicken that he's carrying under his arm.

Three of our challenge colleagues, Andy, Joe C and Jen riding down the long roads.

Steering clear of the cattle being herded along the road.

The local villagers are always happy as well as curious to see strangers wearing strange cycling gear.

Relaxing immediately after finishing the first of our three long, hot and dusty cycling days.
