Professor Geoff Tomlinson FREng, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research) of Sheffield University, will lecture on "Next Generation Materials for Reducing Vibration in Aircraft Engines". The dinner will be hosted by Manchester's President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Alan Gilbert. The lecture is open to the public and the dinner is for Fellows and their guests. We hope that all Fellows will continue to support this regional flagship event. Fellows may each bring a guest to the dinner and spouses are welcome. An early indication of your interest in attending the lecture and/or dinner on 15th March will be helpful. The dinner is not 'black tie'; please put it in your diary now!
