25 September 2007 Fellows' Visit
Magnetic Resonance Imaging
11.00am at Sir Peter Mansfield Magnetic Resonance Centre, University of Nottingham, University Park, Nottingham NG7 2RD
As a result of demand to participate in visits, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis using the usual Academy procedure. For this visit, not more than 30 participants can be accommodated.

21 September 2007 North West Fellows Visit
Visit to the Health & Safety Laboratory
11.00am at Harpur Hill, near Buxton
This year's "summer visit" was to the new Health and Safety Laboratory facilities at Harpur Hill, near Buxton, and will finish before the rush hour. It covered all three divisions: Health Improvement, Hazard Reduction, and Human Factors.

Public Attitudes to and Perceptions of Engineering and Engineers - Survey 2007
1.30pm - 5.30pm at The Institute of Physics 76 Portland Place, London, W1B 1NT
The Royal Academy of Engineering and the Engineering and Technology Board have jointly commissioned a survey of Public Attitudes to and Perceptions of Engineering and Engineers to explore society's outlook on engineering and its impact on the world. This event will present the results of the survey, provide an opportunity to explore the issues that emerged, and debate how we can change the face of engineering.
