Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Visit to the Health & Safety Laboratory

This year's "summer visit" was to the new Health and Safety Laboratory facilities at Harpur Hill, near Buxton, and will finish before the rush hour. It covered all three divisions: Health Improvement, Hazard Reduction, and Human Factors.

Public Attitudes to and Perceptions of Engineering and Engineers - Survey 2007

The Royal Academy of Engineering and the Engineering and Technology Board have jointly commissioned a survey of Public Attitudes to and Perceptions of Engineering and Engineers to explore society's outlook on engineering and its impact on the world. This event will present the results of the survey, provide an opportunity to explore the issues that emerged, and debate how we can change the face of engineering.
