The Hinton Lecture is the flagship lecture of the Royal Academy of Engineering. Vincent de Rivaz CBE FREng, current Chief Executive Officer of EDF Energy, will give this year's lecture, reflecting on a career spanning four-decades at the forefront of the energy sector.

Vincent will explore the changing face of the UK’s energy market and what’s next for the industry – including how we can embrace a lower carbon future and encourage the next generation of engineers.

Lecture tickets cost £12.00 each including VAT. 

Dinner and lecture tickets cost £66.00 each including VAT. Please note places are limited and booked on a first-come first-served basis. You will need to book your tickets in advance of the event. 

Students can attend the lecture and drinks reception free of charge, proof of ID will be required on the night.

All cancellation requests must be received in writing via email to Events Team. A request for cancellation (and refund) will be accepted up to Tuesday 7 November 2017. Royal Academy of Engineering must make commitments to suppliers at that time and making changes will result in additional costs or penalties. If the cancellation request is received after the deadline, we cannot issue a refund.
