The UK, US and Chinese Academies of Engineering are hosting the Global Grand Challenges Summit 2017 on 19-20 July at the George Washington University in Washington DC, with a student business competition on 18 July and an opening reception that evening.

Fellows and friends of the Academy are invited to join engineering leaders, international policy makers and rising star students to seek solutions to humanity’s great challenges, inspiring the next generation to forge a better future for the world through engineering and interdisciplinary collaboration and public engagement, and creating a talent pipeline that is equipped for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
