Considering a career in Engineering?
Designed to Inspire is a series of role model events intended to give Engineering Students* an opportunity to find out what it's really like to be an Engineer. Between Monday 29th April and Wednesday 1st May 2013, Engineering students are invited to join fellow students for a 2 hour session which includes an audience with some of the UK's most successful Engineers:

Chi Onwurah MP Previously Head of Telecoms Technology at OFCOM
Roma Agrawal Associate Structural Engineer, WSP
Natasha Carpenter Field Engineer, Cable and Wireless Worldwide
Dr Nike Folayan Senior Communications Engineer, Mott MacDonald & Chair of Association of Black Engineers UK
Luke Dandy Doctoral Researcher, Chemical Engineering, University of Birmingham
Professor Chimay Anumba (FREng) Head of Department of Architectural Engineering Pennsylvania State University
Yomi Ajileye Graduate Engineer, Mott MacDonald
(* Engineering students include those studying 'A' level maths and physics; Engineering apprentices and those studying for BTEC, Foundation, Degree, Diploma, HND and HNC qualifications in Engineering.)
Sessions will run between 10.00-12.00 and 14.00-1600 each day
If you're considering a career in Engineering, simply register and we'll send you a free personal invitation. Travel expenses up to £50 will be reimbursed on production valid receipts.
