Shell/Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Teaching Fellows
This industrially sponsored
Visiting Teaching Fellows
scheme is focused on enriching the teaching
curriculum in the technologies associated with the
upstream and downstream operations of the Petroleum
industry. Visiting Teaching Fellows are selected on
the basis of being on the fast track in their
respective areas of technical expertise and the
ambitious nature of the programme their host
university wishes them to undertake.
Apart from teaching, Visiting
Teaching Fellows are also involved in supervising
practical and project work and mentoring students.
They are also expected to deliver two careers’
focused presentations to students during the course
of their appointment. Each appointment is for a
period of two years.
