The Royal Academy of Engineering Student Design Poster Competition 2008

This year’s engineering design poster competition took place at the UK’s leading engineering education design conference Engineering Education 2008 (EE2008) at Loughborough University on 15 July.

Thirty-one universities took part in the competition submitting a total of 48 posters, which were judged by a panel of Academy Fellows and Visiting Professors. The judges awarded prizes for the best entries in the categories of Sustainable Development, Integrated Systems, Innovation and for the best project overall.

The high quality of this year’s submissions resulted in an extremely difficult task for the judges and after a prolonged moderating session awarded this year’s prizes to:

Overall Best Project - Prize of £2,000
