Visiting Professors' Scheme
Visiting Professors in Nuclear Engineering
The objective of this scheme,
which is funded by the National Nuclear Laboratory,
is to educate undergraduate engineers with the
knowledge, skills and sector specific know-how so
that they have the capability to join and make a
contribution to the next generation of the nuclear
power industry the government has committed the UK
to being part of.
The scheme was launched in
2010 with three Visiting Professor posts being
launched at the universities of Leeds, Liverpool and
Manchester. A fourth post was created at Birmingham
in 2011.
