Development Campaign
making things better
The Royal Academy of Engineering,
a registered charity, receives funds from Government
as well as generous support from charitable trusts, companies, Fellows of the Academy and other private donors. The strength of the Academy depends on the volunteered time and expertise of its Fellows, many of whom have
also made donations towards the Academy’s acquisition of 3 Carlton House Terrace.
The making things better Campaign aims to raise £16.5 million: £6.5 million to create a Forum for Engineering at 3 Carlton House Terrace, and £10 million to increase the
national impact of the Academy’s education and engagement activities. It is the largest fundraising Campaign the Academy has ever undertaken – and
it will help us achieve a significant step change in our drive to move engineering to the centre of society. We are very grateful to all those who have supported the Campaign so far.
