Professor Anthony Charles Wiener Finkelstein FREng CEng FIET FBCS

Distinguished for his contributions to research in software engineering,
Anthony Finkelstein has played a principal role in establishing the area of requirements
engineering, a systems and software engineering process that covers all of the activities
involved in determining, documenting and maintaining a set of requirements for a computer-based
system. His professional and academic leadership in the software engineering community both
nationally and globally is well known and he has encouraged knowledge transfer and
entrepreneurship. He has founded or been a director of several spin out companies, including
UCL Consultants, Systemwire Ltd, Message Automation Ltd and npcomplete Ltd. He currently
serves on the board of UCL Business.
