Iain Conn has played a leading role in shaping BP over the past decade as a business leader known for his outstanding technical leadership and commercial acumen. He is responsible for Refining and Marketing, which includes all of BP’s fuels, lubricants and petrochemicals activities. Prior to his current role, his career spanned all major businesses at BP, including Exploration & Production; Oil Trading, Supply & Optimisation; Petrochemicals; and leading group functions including Health, Safety and Environment, Technology and Engineering. He has overseen major engineering projects in Latin America and the US and has most recently led the re-positioning of BP’s downstream portfolio. In addition to his work at BP, he is the senior independent director of Rolls-Royce Holdings plc, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Imperial College Business School and a member of the Council of Imperial College, London.|
