Council and Committees: External Affairs Committee

The External Affairs Committee’s role is to develop an integrated communications, public affairs and public engagement strategy for the Academy. The purpose of the strategy is to enhance the Academy’s communications with key external audiences – the Fellowship, business and industry, academia, the public and media, government and Parliament and a range of international audiences. The committee ensures that the activities, positions and policies of the Academy are best placed to be effectively promoted to the relevant external constituencies to maximise impact and enhance the organisation’s reputation.
